Prayer is essential to any endeavor you undertake in life. At The Vine Birmingham, we believe prayer is the very next stone placed on the foundation of your identity in Christ. In fact, we don't do anything here except we pray at least 21 Days first. We consistently pray out of relationship and not just necessity. Do you have a desire to increase your prayer life? We are joining forces every Monday for House of Prayer Intercession at 6pm and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5 a.m. 

We hope you are able to join us as we equip "prayer warriors" for battle. Isaiah 56:7 speaks to the church as a house of prayer for all nations. Again, at The Vine Birmingham, we believe in the power of prayer.

The Fearless Women’s Podcast is an extension of the Vine Women’s ministry.  It exist to create a movement of women who starve their fear and feed their faith in Christ Jesus. We understand that through Christ, we can do all things, no matter the challenge, because God strengthens us (Philippians 4:13).  We do not walk in fear but if some are challenged in that area, they will gain strength. We walk in love, for perfect love cast out all fear! (1 John 4:18). The podcast will be produced bi-monthly and will include discussions with women about topics that we are all faced with. Guest will share their testimonies and life experiences as a way to encourage each other to keep running the race that God has set before us.

Our midweek home gatherings, House of Peace, is designed to empower and equip believers to function in their God-given calling.  We believe life should be done together as believers.  So Christ has truly set us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and don’t get tied up again…(Galatians 5:1 NLT). Houses of Peace are our small group system at #TheVineBham. We discuss interest, life issues, and the bible in these groups. You can be free in Christ from all hinderances and issues!

It is our belief at The Vine Bham that Praise & Worship is a vital part to the ministry of this body of believers. Members should view their function as ministers of the gospel through music and song. Membership on the Praise & Worship Team, as a singer or a musician, is a position of Christian leadership.  The primary function, then, is to lead the congregation in true worship under the guidance of the Holy Spirit; therefore, members must strive continually through prayer and example to have a pure heart before God and others. The Praise and Worship team lives on Psalms 100:1-4.

The Vine Arts (Praise  or Liturgical) Dance Team ushers in the presence of God through dance, to uplift the body of Christ through movement. We are a ministry that desires to show love, honor and glory to God through movement and interpretive expression. 

Psalms 149:3 – Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.

Children 's church is  planned time of worship where children have the opportunity to learn about God on their own level of understanding. We put the Gospel on the bottom shelf so the kiddies can get it. We strive to increase their knowledge of God, transform their lives and inspire their hearts through the teaching of biblical principles and truths. 

The Vine Media/Production Team is a group of dedicated members who perform several functions. We set up service for the Worship Team which includes audio control of microphones, speakers and instruments. We are responsible for the church online streaming of services every Sunday. Streaming services includes shooting from different camera angles. Displaying graphics, worship songs and sermon notes. We also set up stage and lighting for each service.

Kingdom Women is a ministry consisting of women in the church who are 60+ who will lead the charge to engage with and teach the younger women in the church.  It is based on Titus 2:3 which says, “Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips, not enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, so they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the Word of God will not be dishonored.”  To be clear, this ministry is inclusive of all women; the older women are simply taking the lead.  Events will be planned throughout the year to connect with women to enhance our spiritual growth as well as natural lives
